Faith Baptist Church began after a group of Hollis residents attending Trinity Baptist Church in Nashua heard church planting missionary Stan Rockafellow. Stan served with Missions Door missions agency. This group of Hollis residents met together with Stan and in the fall of 1969 the church was born. Stan left after 3 years to start another church. Alan McIlwaine followed Stan becoming the pastor for the next 11 years followed by Roy Christensen for 5 years. Mike Rattin came in June of 1987 and has been the only pastor from that time. During this time the church has sent out a number of its members into a variety of missions and missionary service. Mike Rattin remains as lead pastor serving together with co-elder Matt Brown.
